Mentorship Program
The Prevention Pathways Mentorship program is a statewide mentorship program for behavioral health prevention professionals. Aimed to increase workforce retention as well as to provide networking and professional development opportunities, the mentorship program will pair entry-level or new prevention professionals with professionals who have a seasoned and diverse knowledge base in the field. Mentors and mentees will be matched based on considerations and needs including areas of expertise/interest, lived experience, and cultural background/interests.
Mentor Eligibility Requirements:
- Two years of prevention experience.
Timeline:
- Fill out the intake form.
- Meeting with Project Manager.
- Get matched!
- Initial meeting and ongoing meetings with mentor/mentee.
- Submit meeting tracking form regularly.
- Quarterly check-ins with ABHPC.
- Post-program evaluation.

- Opportunities to co-facilitate paid training opportunities with mentees.
- Ongoing individualized support for mentors and mentees throughout the process.
